![]() ![]() Oz Vessalius sits upon a red and gold chair which is significantly bigger than himself. Now that the relentless cogs of fate have begun to turn, do they lead only to crushing despair for Oz, or is there some shred of hope for him to grasp on to? There, he meets a young girl named Alice, who is not what she seems. He is thrown into an eternal, inescapable prison known as the Abyss from which there is no escape. The air of celebration surrounding fifteen-year-old Oz Vessalius's coming-of-age ceremony quickly turns to horror when he is condemned for a sin about which he knows nothing. In the background is a black-and-white silhouette of the pocket watch ticking away. Oz has his right arm lifted and braced over his face as it holds the golden pocket watch, and his left arm down at his side is bound tightly by a chain, one end broken and falling apart into pieces. The ends of the cloak are tattered and worn and ripped. Said cloak is ill-fitted, falling off his right shoulder and only hanging on his left arm, the end of the sleeve falling past his hand. He is clad in his casual clothes, over which the white, gold, and green Coming-of-Age Ceremony cloak is draped. The central character is Oz Vessalius, standing center frame and staring forwards with seriousness and confidence. ![]()
